The Gates Scholarship started in 2017, funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Each year, 300 students are selected. Over time, 3,000 students will be given this amazing chance.

The goal is to help bright students who don’t have much money, so they can go to college without worrying about how to pay for it.
